Wow, awesome man! Congrats, she's a beauty, I see you went for the ducktail too, nice work! More pics are needed asap!!!

It came in fast from port! I was watching your boat periodically, how many days did it take to make it to the dealer from port?

You won this round, I owe you a round of drinks if you're ever in Boston.

BTW, my car is scheduled to off load this weekend and my dealer told me, I should have it next weekend, if all goes well! I'll be sure to update the thread.

So did you sleep in the car the first night, I keep teasing my wife that I'm sleeping in it the first night, haha (she'll probably be happy to have a night w/o snoring)

More pics knurly!! Congrats again!

Its Sapphire Blue. For some reason I kind of like to deviate from 90% of the Porsche's I see on the lots. My previous was one of those bright orange Limited Edition Boxsters. Learned with that one to love fun (different) colors.

Something else I discovered from that one was Alcantara. Went with Alcantara on the wheel and shifter on this one. Glass sunroof is a winner, and I like how the aero package looks.

One big surprise is how good the LED headlights are. I ordered that pretty much on blind faith in Porsche engineering. Doesn't seem like there is much info out there (yet). Certainly didn't have any at my dealer (Austin) to look at.

Some quick pics attached, but please be merciful - I've not yet had a chance to detail it. Dealer detailing is ... well, it was kinda rushed. I've got a photographer friend who may do some "glamour" shots for me

Cheers!

Knurly,

Absolutely gorgeous. I actually traded in my 13' C2S for a 14' C4S and that exact color with the aerokit. I am assuming it should be hitting the Houston port next week. I been watching this thread due to all the info that was getting past for tracking the shipments. Thanks.

I hope your transfer from ship to truck goes as quickly as mine did. I may have been lucky but it unloaded in about one and a half days and then arrived in Austin the next.

Hello all,
My C2 Cab arrived in San Diego aboard the Metis Leader on 11/14. My dealer says to expect it in his store on about 11/21, just in time to drive to the LA Auto Show. We're almost there!

Thanks knurly, I hope it goes quick too!
My dealer told me they get priority shipping from the dock, 7 days a week, whatever that means. The Pacific Highway docked yesterday around 2pm, so I'm guessing the dealer will see it early to mid week and I should have it by the weekend or less. I don't believe it, I can't wait to see how she looks. I think it will be amazing, but then again they're all nice

knurly,

I am located in Colorado Springs. I wish I could have seen one in person as well. No dealer had a sapphire blue. Like you, I love those "fun" colors. I own a gecko green jeep rubicon. Really bright. A lot of my co workers hate it but it's a hit with their kids. Go figure.

I can't complain too much about the wait though. My dealers original estimated delivery date was 27 Dec. I hope to get it before Thanksgiving though. Looks like the Marina Ace should hit Houston by tomorrow.

Thanks eg991. From your sig and avatar photo I can tell we have similar tastes ("glas" sunroof, 7MT, SC, ..etc.). I think white would have been my next choice on color.

I say "glas" because have you noticed the spelling in the Owners Manual?

Yep, got the car last Thursday, but I'm slowly working my way cover-to-cover through the manual. I'm a self-admitted 'manual reader'...

That's . Just checked the "Good to Know" app to confirm, and sure enough there it is - Glas Sunroof. Either way, I do like the glass roof, but not as much as I like the 7MT in conjunction with SC and PSE. It's absolutely brilliant! The car gets better and better the more you drive it.
