Golf clubs in the back
Golf clubs in the back
So, before I ordered my 991 I made sure the golf clubs fit in the back (and they do!) Today while putting in my Smart Top I started thinking about how to secure them back there. I pulled off the LATCH covers and was thinking about a bungee cord or a movers adjustable strap. However, (DUH) I saw that there were two black straps already available. I'm trying this for now, and will try something else if I don't like it. I can get the clubs in and out without unbuckling. Anyone else mulled this problem? Any creative solutions?
TIA

Jnscolo,
You could also run a bunge from the anchor behind the seat, down to the bottom of the seat at the front. Make sense? If you did one of these on each side it would be very secure. PS Waiting for some good pictures of your new 911

What bugs me about clubs in the back is that my bag (especially the kickstand) is hardly ever clean and is made of abrasive materials which could scratch the interior/leather.
I either need to "let go" or else I'm doomed to using my DD as my golfing transport.

Funny thing about priorities.
I also did a "test fit" at the dealership before I decided on a 991S. But my test was for all my track gear. Tools, cooler, folding chairs, small suitcase, two helmets, etc. The dealer was certainly amused. My wife and I have done DE's all over the place for years. Started with my 993 4S, then a MINI Cooper S, Then an E46 M3, and for the last four years a Cayman S.
So, if I decide to hang up doing track days it's good to know I can take up golf!
