Filled out a JD Power Survey Today
I don't know how many of you got asked to participate in the JD Power Initial Satisfaction Survey for your 911, but I did and completed the survey online today. The only negatives I reported were:
1) Occasional hesitation off the line when going for a brisk start;
2) Lane drifting to the right at speed (only experienced once);
3) Intermittent but not bothersome (yet) rattle from dashboard or steering column. I'm so unsure about it that I deleted mention of it since I couldn't honestly say where it comes from or at what speeds or road conditions.
So, my only defects are two and neither of them have risen to the level of being bothersome, though the very infrequent hesitation off the line pisses me off when it happens, needless to say.
Overall, I gave the car near perfect marks, otherwise.

The onus is certainly not on you to diagnose the rattle or determine its whereabouts or under what conditions it occurs, so mentioning it would not have been unfair on your part.
Most of us had filled out these surveys before the rattles began in earnest, so we never had the opportunity to highlight this recurring issue.
Had you not deleted this comment, you would have simply been stating the facts by reiterating an annoying issue faced by a plethora of drivers.
If Porsche saw this on a survey, they just might fix their defective clip design (used abundantly in their roof liner and sunroof) and spared the next owner repeated trips to the workshop.
But you spoke your truth, so good for you..

I just filled one out the other day. I complained about a rattle coming from the passenger sun visor - where the visor attaches to the roof liner.
Other than that, no problems. It was worth a dollar.

I briefly noticed the rattle today but was too busy to try and isolate it at the time. Later, when I was driving again I listened for it but didn't notice it. Could be my garage clicker since I was unsuccessful when I tried to program the Home Link buttons, but I intend to give that another try and then get rid of the clicker as it does make rattling noises, albeit not from the direction I think the real rattle is emitting from.

It's an easy two person job, however. Good luck!
