Is it true that it glues on, so can never be removed?

3M tape, supposedly removable. I don't know if it improves anything to do with handling, but mine has not de-stabilized handling that I can tell.

Nicoli, thanks! I appreciate your info on the 3M tape, although I am surprised not to have gotten a response from NFSM.

Glad to hear that your handling has not gotten worse, that would be a tragedy. I am pretty sure it would only make a material amount of downforce on the track at relatively high speed, but that is where I think the 991 would benefit from it, without putting on a big wing.

If it adds 50-100lbs, then it is probably useful. If not, it is a great cosmetic addition.

sure, no prob. We put it on back in Feb of '13, its been through multiple car washes, driven through winter with snow, etc and no problems. Looks like the day we put it on. I just couldn't justify the ducktail cost from Porsche, and it was a nice compromise. Here is the install thread if interested. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...r-install.html

John my apologies for the late response. I must have overlooked your comment. i highly doubt at this low of a price any downforce or aerodynamics will be in place. If you were to install this spoiler with the beta link adhesive then it will be EXTREMELY difficult to take off and could damage your paint if taken off wrong. I would highly suggest using 3M double sided tape. Please PM me with any additional questions and again sorry for the late reply.

NFSM, thanks for the reply and that was somewhat my fear. I would love to get a little more down force while keeping the smooth look of the 991. If any additional information on this becomes available, please let us all know.

In the meantime, it looks really nice on those cars!
