It's sleeping
I understand where you are coming from but life is short. You could get diagnosed with terminal cancer or the like in the next week. Be safe but enjoy your cars now despite the weather.
Great! A project for Sunday before the Eagles game.
One of the reasons I bought the 991 and loaded it with options I wanted - as opposed to maximize resale value- was a realization that life is indeed too short.
Me too. Mines still sleeping will all the aftermath of the Icepocalypse in Dallas (sand, potholes salt).
Believe me, you don't want to buy my car but after my lease but the fact that I drive it once or twice a week in the winter is not the reason.......
In all seriousness (actually I was serious in the paragraph above) I used to buy preowned but after being hit 3 times by distracted drivers killing the value of my car, I no longer will buy preowned unless it's a more modest purchase. I am willing to pay more for the lease and get a new car every 27-36 months. This works perfect since I have car ADD.
Edit- I would like to add that even if I did buy a car preowned 911 other sports car, I would drive it in non-snow weather even with salt and other stuff on the roads. These cars are made well and can handle the elements (to a certain extent). I wash all the cars at lease once a week all year round and whether I drive it or not, it's depreciating. If something breaks, I fix it. I'm done babying my cars. Do I take care of them, yup, do I let them sit and depreciate while I look at it, not anymore.
