Having started out a loooog time ago with 911s that rusted any time it was damp, I always go for (at least) a short drive after washing the car. The brakes get dry and no rust. Then a once over to get rid of any errant water drops and reach in (insanely often) and wipe any dark residue in the wheels.

 

Try Dry Washing.

No issues.

Or, as lrattner and Chuck said, just a quick two minute drive around the block to dry them off, then proceed with drying detailing.
