Thinking of retro fitting x51 power kit?

Getting an approx cost of $16-17K and needing the car for 2-4 days. I would prefer to not get the usual it's way overpriced comments/arguments. What I'm looking for is if anyone has installed this option after delivery and if the prices above seem in the ballpark. I see sun coast offers the equipment for 11k. Trying to check around. I already have PSE and chrono. Thanks for the responses.

I did it. I was able to get my dealer to price match Suncoast. Then they added their labor to it, coming to about $15k. I already had Sport Chrono but not PSE. You may be able to get lower labor costs from another servicer.
They had my car for about 5 days and make sure the vacuum tubes get put on the correct way. Else you can get a cooling error. Easy fix, just annoying. You'll have a ton of left over parts from what is replaced.
The performance is not noticeable from driving, but it is there. You will pull away from another 991 at higher RPMs. It's just smoother, hence hard to differentiate.

Everytime I see one of these threads it makes me very glad I added X51 to my build on the last day for changes. I wish you luck in making your awesome car more awesome.

Yes, I agree. Although I may be doing it cheaper overall, I would've preferred to have had it done on initial build. Alas, it didn't become available until well after I received the car.
