See the New Porsche 911 Targa in Action

One look at the Porsche 911 Targa and you will be sold, if not for its sleek, roll-bar-accentuated profile, then for the way it turns itself into a topless beauty. There are plenty of videos below for you to see the targa-top mechanism in action. Watching it in operation is awe-inspiring, making you feel like [...]

At first I didn't like it since I have never been a Targa fan. But the more I see it the more i think it would be a great car in CA. The vert is obviously the ultimate open top vehicle. However, it can be a little too much at times. So I think for the person needing more then a sunroof but not a vert this is ideal. I also like the black and blue with the accent aluminum Targa bar. It will be interesting to see after a year or so how all those motors and widgets hold up. Hopefully Porsche Engineering choose some pretty robust product to handle all that movement. Looks great when it works. What do you do if it gets jammed and you need to head home from the office at 7:00 P.M? Just one of those things Murphy's Law could play a part in. With that said I wouldn't be an early adopter of a car like this until I saw some reviews on the mechanism.

Naw I don't see how would be great here in ca. It doesn't rain here. So a cab makes more sense other than with the top up its ugly.. Targa is just dated, although I'm sure it will be popular in Long Island and jersey

Good picture in black. I'd love to see it photoshopped with a black targa rollbar !
