Thank you all for posting. I contacted an extremely helpful and interested technician at Porsche of Plano. He is going to research this issue and offer guidance. Will report back.

Thumbs up

I'm glad you brought this up and I hope you issue is repeatable, and more importantly, it rears it's ugly head during the test drive at the dealer.

I too have felt this darting without steering input, while drivng a demo 911 CS Coupe and my wife felt it as well. When we returned, the SA had no explanation.

At least I feel more comforted in knowing that there are corrections for just about any steering issue...

This issue occurred for me with a screw in a tire....slow leak and occurred starting at about a 6psi differential. Good luck.

All my tire pressures are in check, I have received PM's from others that have experienced similar. I don't want to get rid of this car, hope I find a solution.

Did you get response from Porsche technician? Looks like a trip to Porsche Service is required.

No response yet! It's probably not a priority for them and not an easy solution. Don't want to send my car till they have an idea of what to look into.

Wouldn't the tire pressure monitoring system tell you if your pressure is low or have a slow leak? Does everyone who has this problem have the stock Pirelli P Zeros?

I check the TPMS daily and the pressures are not fluctuating. I don't think it's related but I upgraded my wheels to the HRE p101 and now have a 305 tire in the back. The wheels came with new Pirellis and were mounted and balanced by wheelsBoutique.

Might be related. I vaguely recall a need to change something in the software when wheel/tire combo is changed !

Yes...make sure you set the car to the right tire/pressure setting. If you have 20" wheels on the car, and it is set to 19", there will be issues. The 19" wheel / tire option is slightly smaller in diameter, which will cause issues with the steering input and traction control.

Where did you hear that?

There are menu settings for winter/summer tires.
Is that what you meant?

I figured that was for TPMS reasons.
However, the winter setting could theoretically alter the Stability & Traction control paramaters.
