What to buy.. Please help :)
In February, I picked-up a `13 991 C4 that was one of two `13s left on the dealer's lot. The sticker was $117K and some change and I got it for $102K. I think with base 991s in the mid to high $90Ks, it's feasible that you should be able to find a mid-year `12 or `13 991 in the $70Ks within another year or so.

I think if she gets a ride in one with the top down and my little girls hair blowing in the wind with a huge smile, juuuust might do the trick
consider a C63, hard to get new (loaded) for $70k, but a leftover or excellent preowned one can be had for $55-60k. Not as sharp (looks and handling) as the 911, but a very very fun car to drive. I promise you will fall in love with it, if you go drive one! Everyone that has owned one, loves them (including myself)--huge following too. More enjoyable car than the M3 IMO, but I'm bias

To me, driving the 911 is like riding a beautiful thoroughbred stallion, fast and gorgeous. The C63 is like strapping a saddle on a rabid lion. I don't think I will ever forget my C63, truly a fun car if you like to be a hooligan and love trq (and buying rear tires). Don't get me wrong, I'll take my 911 any day and everyday over it. But I think any true petro head can appreciate and enjoy the C63 for what it is!
