Like BrandonH said, it would be interesting to find out... if only they published their 'Ring times!!! I guess they are probably too good and they do not want the rest of the industry to feel humiliated 
Let's also find out how reliable the P1 is going to be in the real life compared to the 918. I would not bet on it.
Not trashing the P1 here, but from everything we have read and seen, the 918 seems to be the most accomplished (hybrid) super car that could actually be driven everyday.
BTW, Jay Leno paid the best compliment possible to the 918 when he said "it feels like you are in a 911". Or maybe it is the opposite in fact
