Could you post a couple profile shots straight on so we can see what you mean about the space issue and compare the profile of both tires? TIA.

Yea I had the same reaction when the exact dimension MPSS were mounted on my techart wheels and mounted on the car, the tires are lower profile for sure. huge wheel gap, but luckily had KW V3 suspension arriving, so the gap disappear in a day. The MPSS are better tires in every way compare to stock Pzero. I put over 10k miles on them and 1 full day of open track day and there are still threads left. Better traction in wet and quieter on the road and dry grip is better over the Pzero IMO

LOL
You have a .7" wider tire, which pushes out the same as a 9mm spacer would, on the OEM tire.
Since many run 15mm spacers, on the OEM tires, a 7mm on the 305 would put you +1mm from that.
Plus you get more rubber on the inside, which nobody sees.

The wheel well gap and sidewall height is no different.
What tricks your eye is the rediculously oversized rim protection flange, on the PSS 305.
It makes the sidewall look shorter.

Id like to see more pics, of the front, since I did not run that size.

I'm gonna try the spacers and call it a day. It's a lease, I'm not going to do suspension too. Will see how the 15mm spacers work for rear. I like the super sports better than the p zeros so I'll have to live with it. I plan on ordering next 991 by end of summer for end of year delivery anyways.

I appreciate everyone's help here.

I'm assuming you don't have spasm or/and PDCC? That helps with the gaps and stance.

Also I wonder when I update my c4s tires (definitely pss) can I use wider tire than oem 305 in the rear? I do have 5mm factory spacers...

I am going w 7mm spacers the 15mm spacers in rear extended out too much. It looked agressive but for track days I may be in trouble.

You want to go 315 or 325?
You could, but I dont know of any in 30 series, except the R888.
Even the 295 is overkill, unless you have a GT2.
The front is where you need more grip.

If I found the right tire, to allow it, I would do 265-35-20 & 315-30-20.
From my measurements, relative to my existing, it would fit.

For a 4, you need to retain the diameter relationship, front to back, to keep the diff happy.
Its hard to know how much range you have to work with there.

Id love to use a 265/35 front and 305/30 rear. But like you said I have no idea if it would mess up the diff. I know the 255/35 should be fine for the AWD set up.

Good input guys. Let me do a little research on the dia vs differential. End of the day you've gotta keep the car in optimal set up ..I actually prefer function over form.

I really don't know much about this situation, but I notice in TireRack that there is a new Pilot Super Sport Porsche N0 tire 295/35ZR20 (35 vs 30-and a new one for the front also). I also notice it has a slightly less revs / mile. Is this a new one designed for the 911 and is this the one we should be using?

I notice it's also listed for the K1 Ferrari. Do we know it won't fit on the 991?
