Living in the northeast means we have 4 distinct seasons........winter for 7 months, spring and summer for 4 months and fall for one

Luckily I have a C4S as my DD and can enjoy the car for the whole year and with winter tires fitted it is probably one of the more capable vehicles on the road when things start getting slippery. But, it's always great when the snow starts melting and the winter grime washes away and I can look forward to:

Washing the car and it will actually stay cleaner for longer, even with black as the color.

Keeping the windows and sunroof open to enjoy the exhaust sound under full throttle when accelerating and shifting through the gears.

I know, it's always the little things.......................what are yours?

 

I thoroughly enjoyed washing my 991 C4 this morning, and I agree that there's nothing better than listening to the sounds from the exhaust. My Panamera 4S has been the daily driver this winter and I gave her a thorough washing the other day. Still have to be careful of the potholes left over from this winter!

 

Too many good things to count, but there is ONE that is a definite nightmare during the spring:

 

How about enjoying the summer tires? I too have a c4s with winter shoes which are great from a traction point of view but definitely have their performance limits. Tomorrow I'm switching back to summer shoes and I'm looking forward to enjoying them again.

 

Just when you thought it was safe - snow on Tuesday?!

Well, that has to be the last of it. Two things, this year? Pot hole repair and the first AutoX on March 30! I am in Germany all week - no time to go to Stuttgart - and the day after I get home, the 2 year anniversary of sitting in my car for the first time, I get to drive it like I stole it (well, it feels like it).

 

Amen to that!
