I have the passenger mirror dip mode turned off because 90% of the time that's the way I prefer it to be when I am backing up. But when I do want it, say I am parallel parking, I have to sift FIVE levels deep into the PCM to check the button and get the mirror to drop. By the the time I have that all done my wife is out of the car and eating appetizers in the restaurant already. Whatever happened to having a good old fashioned button on the door?

Is there any shortcut to getting the mirror to dip?

I would set an identical preset with the mirror in the lower position, otherwise just tilt the mirror down as you approach

if you keep the left mirror activated on the door switch the right mirror will not tilt down when put in reverse. When you do want it to tilt, push the right mirror button and then it will tilt in reverse.
