Product Improvement Campaign

I got mail from my dealer saying to call them for a "product improvement campaign." Does this mean there is a service bulletin out for my car or is it just fishing to get my car into service? I've only had it for a few months so I'm not even due for the annual oil change yet. Anyone know what this is?

It could be the instrument cluster software update and/or PDCC control module update--both were done to my car yesterday when I was in for an oil change.

Paradocs98-

Any indication of what the campaign for the cluster does? Every time I take a P car in for a campaign and ask the service writer what it addresses, they look at me like my dog when I ask her what time it is.

Had mine done yesterday when my oil was changed by won't be speaking with the service guy until Tuesday.

Maybe ask for the "WE code" as that will specify what it is about. There are a few about, instrument clusters, PCM shutting down, service lights, rear wheel steering, rear spoiler problems etc.

Not sure of the details--I also feel that asking the service advisor won't help. The WE codes were WE18 for the PDCC and WE02 for the instrument cluster--is there a list somewhere online that describes each based on the WE code?

I had WE02 done recently. Only difference I noticed is a world map shows up when setting the time zone.

Also had WE12 done. They replaced vacuum line for exhaust on my C2S. I do not have PSE.
