Aftermarket Recommendation: Bro-Nuts : Ti

I was looking for some new hardware for my newly acquired HRE Wheels on the 991, and wasn't thrilled at the nickel-plated steel lugs out there, and didn't want chromies, either. Something that looks appropriate with the wheel but I'm not willing to pay $ 725 a set for the TiKore Titanium ones. In looking around here on the forums, I see Kent996 has ones available for half the price of the TiKore's and with a T-70 Torx head on them. I decided to try them out, even though there are no strength or engineering specs on them, etc.

Kent and I had several PM's back and forth, and he always uses 'bro' in every message so I decided to call them "Bro-nuts", catchy, yes? Sounds much better than "The Titanium Lugs that Kent996 has for sale in the forum". A nicknames needs a logo, right?

They arrived yesterday and I have to say, Impressive! They are direct replacements for the factory ones and are much nicer, and much lighter than the black steelies that come with the 991's, and they are their own work of art (for a bolt). I was very impressed. Kent included a T70 socket in with the box of lugs and each bolt has a protective condom on the threads. The price is tolerable @ $ 350 shipped. I don't know if he has more for sale and does these on a regular basis, but its a fine product that I will recommend. And yes, they are long enough for both the HRE's and the factory wheels.

Thanks Bro! (Kent)

I did not weigh them....it would take a postal scale to get a valid number. They're light, but its not going to a huge difference. 20 lugs, maybe a pound, doubt it would be two.
