Nice insult.

I was simply making an observation based on the dyno chart on Fabspeed's website.

Note I said Fabspeed actually didn't do better. The X51 makes 30 hp more at peak power. The Fabspeed pipe makes 10 more peak horsepower than, from what I can make out, the standard exhaust; not the PSE. Not out of the realm of possibility.

Fabspeed is also less encumbered by noise regulations, emissions limits and fuel consumption goals than Porsche. Is suspect the dip in the stock exhaust's torque curve at 4000 RPM is a result tuning to meet noise regulations.

My apologies, I am sure it will be great.

May I ask a naive question? Where are you going to use the horsepower? My unmodified C2 hits wildly illegal speeds in seconds while in second gear and 65 to 105 is accomplished in a few blinks of the eye - just ask my wife who did not even get the time for a white knuckle grip.

It is my understanding that a Porsche is valued for its speed and and its handling. It's been called an "everyday super car."

I have found there will always been someone thinner, faster, richer, smarter and - although hard to imagine - even more charming and engaging than I and I am comfortable with that knowledge.

I do not understand the endless pursuit of power output by Porsche owners. You know, there is a Nissan car that is turbo charged and more powerful and is a lot cheaper. http://www.nissanusa.com/sportscars/gt-r

"Press the Nissan GT-R® accelerator and you feel more than raw power. The 545-hp twin-turbo V6 may be massive in strength, yet it’s highly refined, even earning ULEV-II emissions rating. Rather than traditional cast-iron liners, each cylinder features a unique plasma coating on cylinder walls, with an independent intake system for each bank of cylinders. The powerful twin turbo takes advantage of a Premium Midship (PM) design for balance, where much of the engine sits back in the chassis. Uniquely brilliant, built to perform."

Car mats are even Porschesq at over $1000

I bought a Porsche because i like the way it drives and I'm not drag racing, street racing (my 68 Firebird days were over decades ago) and it's fun.

My 2 cents

New cosmetic mod DONE
Here in Dubai it is mandatory to have front plate numbers, our motor authority issued "mini plates" for Luxury, Sports, and Exotic cars that fit a certain criteria....luckily the 991 fits !!!
Normal Plate

Mini-Plate

New cosmetic mod on its way
I just ordered a custom made rear decklid emblem, it is simply a 911-50 Emblem style but without the 50

Details could be found about the emblem in this post: HERE

On Saturday at 9:00AM (Dubai Time, +4 GMT) I'll drop my car for:

1- Caliper Paint: Brembo Black with white stenciling

2- Get the custom 911 Emblem installed

3- MAYBE get the side-mirror covers wrapped in CF or Matte Black

Bravo to Dubai for the license plate idea. Why don't US states do this. If we had thin plates, I'd definitely put it on. For now I'll take a monthly fine for keeping my car looking clean.

UPDATE 05/07/2014

*sorry for image quality, lighting and phone camera didn't like each other lol*

1- Custom Emblem installed

I am in love with this emblem and feel its a perfect marriage with the car <3

2- Brembo Black Caliper paint (Gloss Black)

They look just as I wanted. WAY better than the ugly OEM steal calipers!
Didn't go flashy with them because I know the calipers on a base 991 are smaller than a 991S + didn't want to be called a 991S wannabe

3- Didn't do the side mirror wrap yet, will wait and do it when the kit is installed

Opinions?

Yeah I tend to agree the 911 logo is distracting... And is out of place
