2014/15 991 Sport Seats Availability?

Anyone hear a firm date when Porsche will receive approvals to use sport seats?

Been holding off a new purchase, but seems Porsche is having difficulty getting approvals in US.

Porsche has been caught flat footed with their GT3 fiasco. I doubt anything new for at least a year.

Already have a 997 GT3. I just won't buy 991 GT3 once they iron out the engine issues. Lots of other good choices out there.

I need the sport seats for 5 pt harness for the track. Clearly, not going to swap out seats.

I'm going out to the Porsche parade; perhaps one of the Porsche execs have a firm answer.

I have heard that Stuttgart would start building 991 GT3's with optional bucket seats starting week 42 for the US. Not 100% sure though.
