Android trapster audible alerts via 991 Bluetooth
I have my Android phone linked via Bluetooth to my 991 audio system so that I can make and receive calls through it.
When running Trapster on the phone, however, audible alerts do not come through the system. I think that the phone is sending them to it, however, because the phone does not send them to its own internal speaker, as it does when not connected to the 991 system via Bluetooth.
Suggestions would be appreciated.

Not familiar with Trapster but with a Waze I was experiencing the same issue as you until I clicked on a setting called "prefer Bluetooth" in the menu settings. Now the alerts comes through my Bluetooth system.

Is that setting on the car or on waze?

For my Android phone, when you connect via BT there's the BT phone connection then the BT Media connection. Calls get routed through the BT phone connection but other sounds like alerts and playing music go through the BT media connection. So you have to select Media BT on the PCM then all your phone's sound goes through PCM to the speakers. But of course that means you can't listen to the radio or use the jukebox or CD player.
