Just got invite for Porsche roadshow at NJ Motorsports park in August.
Looks like fun. Anyone done this in the past few years? Looks like a 3 hr session doing auto cross etc in various p cars.

 

I did the roadshow at Monticello last summer. The track part is fun. They gave us (invitee plus guest) each a lap in Cayman, Cayman S, C4 and C4S. The whole track section was less than a mile as I recall, and it was raining when I drove, but it was a lot of fun and it's eye opening how high performance limits on these cars are, even in the rain. The autocross part where you drive a Panny or a Cayenne was less interesting to me. They also had some cool older cars on exhibit (a 993 turbo, some GT3s, etc.).

 

Very nice experience! Drives around pylon course with SUVs and Panameras, demonstration of 4 wheel drive accel / decel on wet and a couple laps in the sport models. IMO C4S was the fastest / easiest to take fast on the course, but we only got to 80-85% speed. Very worthwhile day!
