Remove O2 Sensors for Header Install

I bought Fabspeed Header&Sport Cats for my 2012 991 3.4 Carrera, 7MT. I see the O2 sensors wires go way up top. What exactly do I remove up top, and how to get at the connectors?

Work I have done already myself on the car includes changing the oil & Filter, Pollen Filter, Flushing Brake Fluid, Install SPASM front spoiler, clear side markers and the Fabspeed Center X-Pipe. I had a shop install H&R lowering springs and get 1.4 degrees negative camber up front.

I'd like to install the headers and sport cats myself as the job only seems cumbersome dealing with the O2 sensor wire connector location.

I did some searches and can't really find any help. Thanks in advance.

Here is a picture of my car- Keith

Its fairly easy to do exhausts on the 991. I did a write up with photos, here...

I did not have to pull the 02 sensors for the Tubi, but i've done plenty of that in other cars and motorcycles, they simply unscrew from the pipe with an open end wrench. Makes sure you keep them clean and avoid spraying WD40 or similar on the threads as if it gets on the sensor itself it will ruin them in short order.

Not to rain on your parade, but you do realize you are most likely going to void your engine warranty by doing this.

Thanks so much for warning me, but I have a foolproof system which others have also used (do searches). If they deny me warranty coverage, I will make a YouTube video of the dash lighting up like a Christmas tree and saying the car randomly stalls and has a mind of its own. The video will go viral.
To stem the potential losses, PCNA will buy back my car at full price. How do you think I got the money for this car?

Regards, Keith

Not true, read the Magnuson-Moss act on warranties, that says in a nutshell that failures have to be directly related to the aftermarket piece installed.

So if you broke a manifold bolt or trashed the 02 sensor, yes - that's not going to be covered. But if your water pump fails or your fuel injectors crap out, or you spin a main bearing, etc. that has nothing to do with the header system.
