Imminent farewell 991S.... :-(
Alas, it'll soon be time to wave farewell to my beloved '13 Platinum 991S
It's been by far the best 911 I've owned and I know it's going to be missed. I've had a magical and trouble free 2 years with it but the time has now come to pass it on to my dealer and then to others who will hopefully enjoy it as much as I have. To help me cope with the sadness of the S loss, my '15 991 GT3 order was confirmed and goes into production in September for Oct/Nov delivery! Hooray! Rhodium Silver Metallic - S2 Leather Interior in Black/Alcantara® with Stitching in Platinum Grey - 78 Automatically Dimming Mirrors with Integrated Rain Sensor - P13 Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) - 603 Extended Range Fuel Tank - 082 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) - 250 20" GT3 Wheels - 431 Wheels Painted in Black - XDG Luggage Net in Passenger Footwell - 581 Floor Mats - 810 Smoking Package - 583 Seat Heating (Front) - 342 Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) - P07 HD Radio Receiver - 688 Sound Package Plus - 490 Porsche Communication Management (PCM) incl. Navigation Module - P23 Online Services - UN1 Telephone Module http://www.porsche-code.com/PF12VBT4

You will love it - great build, by the way.
Make sure to get the 619 Bluetooth option - not sure if you got it or if it is standard for 2015 - it is mandatory - lots of guys missed it and is a pain. It is a free option, or at least was when I ordered mine last year, but had to be specified.
Post pics when you get it.

Can't wait to see ur pics Haku, congrats! I also am on borrowed time with my '13C2S cab...I'm trading mine in shortly for a Boxster GTS. Not quote as glorious as a GT3 but fun just the same. The august hiatus on production is nabbing both of us I think.
Thank you all for your comments.
Nikolas, congrats! What's your build date and spec? My big dilemmas are the front lift and ceramics. I didn't have the lift on my 997.2 GT3 and frankly did not miss it. The few scrapes on the front plastic bit never required me to replace the $200 part. So I'm just assuming the same for my 991 build. Also decided on steel brakes.
I've asked the dealer to confirm that rear compartment or frunk space does not get compromised by the larger tank. If it does, the option goes. The tank is quite large at 23.7 gals.
Thanks Jeff. There isn't a separate Bluetooth option. It is now integrated into the Telephone Module (666). Not free anymore! I'm playing safe and going for the online services as well. It states that it allows for "A direct interface with a customer's smart phone via the "AHA-Radio" app – available for iPhone®". I assume its a Bluetooth connection.
Have you got your car back? Opinions appreciated.
All P cars are glorious my friend! The Boxster GTS is no exception and will be superb. Yup, the August factory break adds to the wait but I'm hoping the techs will be refreshed when they start work on our cars!

The GT3 is incredible...got it back about a week ago, and have put on 500 miles or so. It is just the perfect sports car. You will love yours, to be sure.
Here are some pictures of mine.

Glad they sort of fixed that issue with Bluetooth...so many pissed off people due to that $0 cost option that hardly anyone selected (I did, luckily).

I too was confused about the Bluetooth issue...you'd think they'd just make it standard.
My friend took his 991 GT3 to an autocross last weekend and was staggered at its performance. Considering he's still getting used to the car, he was 4 seconds faster than his nearest competitor!
Well, the deed was done yesterday. I washed and waxed the car and had a great final drive to dealer and as always the car performed superbly.
I am now officially Porscheless!

Ok back to the drawing board....
There's a huge open gap in my garage....
