A few weeks ago I was doing a test drive 991 and noticed this funny noise, the sound was similar as when you do a car wash and the brakes are grinding.. it was only when idle and you let the brake pedal go, not gas ..

today I noticed a similar noise on my car, maybe its something normal, but I was doing back and forth, no gas only letting the foot off the brake, the sound it was to me, from the exhaust as soon as you hit the gas goes away, its a bumm bumm loud sound hard to explain.. but maybe someone noticed some strange noises??

 

Ive had 2 strange noises... Both disappear almost immediately and have not come back... 1) grinding at low speed near full lock 2) a bizarre resonance which kicked in and made me think roadside assistance was inevitable.... Then kicked out just as quickly... Never to be heard again....

 

I think the sound or feeling on mine is from the exhaust, like tumm tumm tumm drowning and then press gas and goes away
