I got a 991 CS 2014 a few months back. I wanted to know if it is possible to have the tail light strip on the Carrera S [http://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/imag...91--4658_6.jpg]

 

I was thinking of the same modification too and had a look into it.

The strip is available via Porsche Spareparts (wiring too)
but I couldn't get the details on:

• Does the Carrera 4/4S bumper fit the Carrera/Carrera S? (wide body vs. narrow body)
  
  
• Is the space between the taillights on a 4/4S any different from the one on the narrowbody Carrera?
  What I mean is will the strip be a fit or be too big?
  
  
• If installed, to which harness/wire line will it be connected to? Plug-in installed or a fabrication required?
  
  
• Will there be a need to reprogram the light switch? Any expected error messages?

Interesting mod. I would have to think that pulling the bumper off the C4 (don't think it matters if it is an S or not) and taking a look at how the light strip is connected would tell us a lot. IAlso the mount points for fastening-down the bumper cover maybe tells us whether it will cross-fit.

Anyone other than myself with a C4/C4S want to pop their rear cover off and take a look? I can't get to it myself until possibly later this weekend....
