When I first viewed them it was on a car with identical color to mine. What attracted me to them was that is set the car apart from every other 911 I saw on the road. Personally, I could be happy with either clear or red.
IMHO, The side lamps really enhance the look of the car. The ugly amber lenses just don't seem to do anything for the car.

 

As always... A love/hate for the clears! Why even ask the question? The responses are always the same.

I say go for the clears. Every other car has red taillights.

I wanted to be different, hence 10 tinting my clear ones. I didn't want any red lenses on the car.

 

I put clear tail lights on my Agate Gray 911. Love the look but realize it is personal preference - like wheels. Do what makes you happy. You paid $$ for the right to do what you want!!

 

What did you do with the reflectors below the tail lights on the back bumper cover? I would like to rid myself of those red reflectors, but don't want to black them out with film. Is a clear reflector made? They make them for bicycles.

 

Great observation.

Removed them and had my body shop paint them to match the bumper.

It was in getting other work, so they did it all.

They just snap right out. Need the bumper off though.

 

No clear ones are available that I've ever seen.

 

Bumperplugs.com sells body-colored reflectors, but they're a bit steep. You can get a shop to paint them or even wrap them for a tenth of the price.

Sorry, not a fan. Think they look best on Evo's or Subi's not on Pcars.

 

i'm not a fan as well, especially if the contrast is very high. i do think clears look best on silver or white cars.

 

I love the clear tail lights on grey and black. Even red.
