You just can't believe what your paint looks like under the lights, I had to fix it.
This may be coming up for sale soon as my Huracan just got released for a build so someone will get hooked up.

Thank you. The dirt is supposed to not stick, we shall see. Apparently there is a 5 year warranty on this stuff, but I'm not sure how that works.

It will get dirty, but rain and dirt will sheet off it a lot easier.

The key is proper washing and maintenance after the fact. Hand wash only!! Go through an automatic car wash, and you've just wasted your money.

Any sort of automatic wash brush and brushless will degrade the sealer and scratch the paint.

Properly maintained, the sealer will last a couple years. The warranty is more of a selling point. Hard to validate and enforce seeing it's easy to trash the finish. Just like anything else, if you take care of your stuff, it will be looking great for a long time!!

It's actually a liquid ceramic sealer that is wiped on and hardens on your clear coat. I would describe it as a temporary secondary clear coat. If you look at the sponge it's applied with, it will harden and be crunchy when dried.

That's why applying the Opti Coat is so difficult because you can get high/low spots and a wavy finish if not properly trained and experienced.

I plan to use a mild wash, spray with a pressure washer and then dry with this new kick *** blower I just got. Ideally I don't have to touch it much which should hopefully preserve the finish.

Perfect. Use a good quality car soap, and don't go too crazy with the power washer. Some guys power wash cars like they're trying to lift gum off of concrete. If too aggressive, you'll degrade the finish too.

Use their spray wax after 30 days or so to give it that slicker feeling, and you'll be in business. Spray on, wipe off with a micro fiber. Like 10 min to do the whole car.
