For about $80, you can obtain a cradle and mount to the right side of the console from ProClipUSA.com. If anyone is interested I will post photo's. The holder rotates and adjusts to any angle. The best part is that mount slides right off the console side for easy removal at the track.
I didn't see anything on this website for the iPhone 6 plus that doesn't interfere.

My HTC ONE is bluetooth connected to the cars communication system. I can see email and text on the screen so there is no need to have my cell phone out when I am driving. Its against the law to text and drive so I wait until I stop the car to respond to my emails and texts. Safer that way!
