Interesting that the message aimed at someone who already owned a Porsche. I would have thought it would alert the nearby drivers that they could be in that car they were looking at, or something similar.

Yeah, you would think that Porsche would rather target non-owners -- and if they recognize a competing brand display some message that would entice or make the driver think about Porsche rather than the brand they're already driving. But then, perhaps in certain markets they are trying to maintain market share and do so through retention of existing owners.

Interesting POC though, and although not reading human eyes very much like a "Minority Report" future scenario coming to realization.

What I'd like to understand is how the recognition works -- looks like maybe simply image recognition as those appear to be standard cameras.... Anyone know?
