My DIY Cell Phone Mount.

My DIY Cell Phone Mount.
Hi Guys,
I wanted to post this DIY for a cell phone mount I made for my 2014 Turbo S Coupe. I have a very simple cellphone, but this mount can be made for any. This particular mount will work best for those that drive alone most of the time, but if you have a passenger, it is easily disconnected.
You need a seat belt clip. These are sold on eBay as a seat belt alarm deactivator for those that don't like to wear them. Below is an example off of eBay. There are a lot of listings for them for sale on the website. Just make sure the male blade is compatible with the passenger seat belt receiver. They usually come 1 or two at a time in these auctions.
The only hard part is finding a cheap cell phone holder that fits your phone. I got mine at Pep Boys for about $8. You just need to be sure you can drill a couple holes in the phone holder so you can put a couple screws through to marry the seat belt blade to the phone holder.
The below pictures are pretty self explanatory.
The phone is visible and completely accessible in this position, and the holder can be removed any time if you have a passenger. Total cost was about $18. What I like about it is it does not detract from the appearance of the dash, or interfere with legroom or anything else.
