PCA National Tech Tactics- Saturday, February 28
Hey- Anyone from the PA/NJ areas going to attend the PCA Tech Tactics event on 2/28 in Easton PA? Perhaps we can meet-up and drive up together?
If you don't already know, the PCA Tech Tactics event info can be found here: PCA National Tech Tactics- Saturday, February 28 and Sunday March 1st. I believe the 28th is sold out, not sure if any spots left on 3/1. You can also find a detailed agenda and speaker list here: Agenda/Speakers
I've seen better, perhaps more enticing agendas, but a great opp to take a drive in the P-car, and I've never been to the PCNA Training Facility (didn't even realize it existed until recently!!). Probably the most exciting session for me: "We will have a 918 present on a lift and the “inner secrets”of this super car will be exposed by the PCNA 918 expert Andrew Lennon."
Here's a venue description: "PCNA Training facility in Easton, PA. This facility is perfect for a “hands on“ type of event. This facility is used to train Porsche technicians on the intricacies of the new Porsches. It is equipped with the state of the art classrooms with lifts and drive train assemblies which will be available for our event."
I am registered for Sat 28th. If you are registered for this date, and would like to meet up, PM me.

UPDATE: I just received an email from PCA.... Looks like Sat session is full, but few spots remain for the Sunday 3/1 session if you are interested! Here's the email: (I also just noted that there is the opportunity to buy Porsche parts at a discount....!)

"Dear PCA Techies,
Want to increase your knowledge and have fun too? It’s easy come to Tech Tactics. There are still openings available for the Sunday, March 1st session of Tech Tactics 2015. As in the past the event is held at the Porsche Cars North American Training Center in Easton, PA. The speakers for this event include our own John Paterek and Jim Newton as well as representatives from Michelin and Performance Friction Brakes. A full hour presentation on the 918 (the car will be there) by the PCNA expert Ken Gould. Also Florian Truffner from Porsche AG will present a seminar on the Porsche Classic Oils. Additional topics of interest will covered as well as the ability to buy Porsche parts at a discount from the largest Porsche parts warehouse on the east coast. Registration can be completed on motorsportreg.com. The cost is $60 which includes a continental breakfast, box lunch from Panera Bread and complimentary T-shirt. This is one of the best bargains in PCA.
For further question, please do not hesitate to call me
