Has anyone done a brake caliper stud conversion?
I bought the studs and have already changed the pads twice now for track days. The studs make the process so much faster and its FAR less risky than trying to blindly thread the bolts into the aluminum housing.
Things I especially like about the studs is that it makes it easier to position the caliper but also you can hang it the caliper and clean it, grease the pins, etc...with both hands. Without the pins you do all this with one hand.
The kit is expensive, but I am very happy with the results. If you change your pads multiple times, such as for track days, it's worth it.

The studs are very high quality. I installed them when I had to change pads and rotors for the first time, so there was an economy of effort. Very easy and with good instructions. Cup cars have these already installed.
