Wife and I drive around with a pep boys cushion in the seat. Can't drive more than an hour without getting out. I have the upgraded 14 way seat but it still hurts both of us. I'm a skinny guy but the bolsters on the side still squeeze me and make it uncomfortable - would love any suggestions.

swap them for the 18 way sport adaptive seats. I"m 6 foot 220 with broad shoulders and they are the most comfortable supportive seats out there. I can drive mine across the county if I needed to.

best,
ns

(3) wear a pair of biking shorts when driving
(4) use the heated seat to increase relaxation in back and butt
(5) last resort, gain a lot of wait to completely fill contour of seat

Can you swap out the 14's for the 18's adaptive through the dealer?

The 18 way in my 991 are great. I had a Panny GTS with 14 way and they were awful. I'm a big guy. 6'2" 215 and I love the 18 way. Had them on a Cayenne as well and loved them.

"Garbage " seems a little aggressive. Remember it is only 1000 dollar difference between the 2 seats. Everyone fits differently in each seat just like everyone has there own opinion.

I think I agree with the "garbage" on the 14 way.... well lets just say they didn't fit me well at all and I bought the car off lease from my company for my wife so I had a low payment and after the wife and I split I had no interest in the car cause the seats were so uncomfortable. Literally like sitting on wood.

I'm 6' and 195lbs. For me the 18 way seats didn't fit well, bolsters especially, and the 14 ways felt much better. I find that while the 14 ways don't feel all that comfortable at first, I can sit in them for a long time without getting "monkey butt". In my 350Z or Mini, with tighter bolsters like the 18 way Porsche seats, I'm good for about 45 minutes before I want and/or need to get out relax my back and hips. With the Porsche 14 ways I feel more like I'm sitting "on" them rather than "in" them.

I have the base Sport Seats and I love them. I fit perfectly, and I'm a taller, thinner person myself.

When I ordered my 991S I tried all the seats first. The 18 way were by far the most comfortable. Also have them in my Macan Turbo. I'm 5'10" and 220. Also, for work I have a 991 sport seat (the base sport seat) and I find it very comfortable also.

Well I'm 6' and about 200 lbs. I fit perfectly in the 18 way sport seats in my car. I LOVE them frankly. I've taken this car on muti state road trips and they're awesome. Many friends have noted how comfortable they are. I have to say I haven't tried the others. Just my two cents I guess.

To each his own. After owning some and testing all the Porsche seats I can honestly say TO ME the 14-ways in the 991 are the best I've ever had !
