ISC Helicopter tape works ($35 in 2" rolls). It is clear.

After a recent skirmish with the curb while parking, I noticed that the plastic lip is designed to deform, but resist breaking. Nice feature. I reversed a few inches, and all I saw was a superficial scrape on the plastic. The metal lip was intact! Whew!

Don't change it yet! If it's SUPER noticeable (doesn't sound like it is), then you can order either the stock piece or the 4S piece for $220-260.

cheapest option may be to take it off, sand it, plastic-dip it and re-install.
Prob take less than an hour, and cost you a can of Plasti-dip - you can even change its color!
