Clear Bra for Orange County, California

All-

I'm picking my 4S cabriolet up on Sunday and I want to get clear bra. Does anyone have a positive or negative experience with a clear bra installer in Orange County, California?

Thanks,

Andrew

Call Glistening Perfection in Aliso Viejo and ask for Mo. He post on this site as well. Here is his info. 27101 Aliso Creek Rd, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656
(888) 459-7130

He has wrapped my 2013 991, and Jaguar E type. His attention to detail is terrific.

Not to take anything away from Moe but I found his work to be less than worth the money. The best guy and supports PCA in OC is Sean at Ultimate Shield who has done 7 of my cars and so many Porsches, Lambo's etc it will make your head spin...oh and his prices are better than fair.

Appreciate the plug and and the support gents. There are lots of talented installers in Orange County, Sean being one of them.

To OP, we'd be happy to go through your new 911 and give you options as far as clear bra. A great value we offer clients is also the other services we can provide. Aside from the detailing services, which is much needed on 991 generation since there are lots of factory imperfections such as sand marks and swirls, we can offer nano coatings to protect the clear bra and paint, wheels, etc. and the coatings make it super easy to maintain your 911. We also offer Huper Optik nano ceramic window film as well that will make it more comfortable for you in heat, and keep interior in great shape by blocking UV.

So, we'd love to hear from you, feel free to call or stop on by. Just give me a heads up if you want to stop by...I'm in and out depending on the day, but here most of the time and we have a wonderful staff that can also assist you.

Appreciate your honesty and feedback. If we worked on a friend's car, or perhaps yours, and expectations weren't met, please PM me so we can make things right. If I don't know and have an opportunity to address it, it's tough for me to fix things we may have missed. It does happen every now and then, but most clients and members of the community know me well enough to know if there's ever a shortfall, we make it right and we stand by our work....and there's no time limit on that.

We've gone as far as replacing entire panels with clear bra, even if clients didn't see imperfections, simply because I caught something later in time that I wasn't happy with.

But, totally appreciate you giving your honest feedback and that's what these forums are about.

I had heard and read good things about Glistening, so I called them..left a detailed message and never heard anything. I don't understand how service businesses do not return customer inquiries. I guess they are to busy. Frustrating....

Michael, was this recent?

My apologies...yes, we are super busy and even though I have 4 detailing techs, I'm the only one in front and back office...so, as much as I hate to admit it, some voicemails or emails get lost in the shuffle.

We're so blessed to have made a name for ourselves in the Porsche community and are now fortunate enough to be rewarded with passionate people bringing their cars to us for a vision that is in my mind. I take that very seriously and never take it for granted.

It's still no excuse for not getting back to you and delivering an experience you were so kind to give me the opportunity to deliver.

If you have already done the services you originally were considering us to do, I hope it all went well, and my apologies for not being able to provide you GP that you were seeking.

If you haven't done anything yet, please let me know when to contact you via PM and we'll take care of you and your Porsche. We'd love the opportunity for a second impression

I agree, I think Moe is really the only smart choice in Orange County. You'd be a damn fool for taking such an amazing car to anyone else.

Yes, you ( personally) worked on my car. A four figure detailing plus I bought as much in product. To say I was not impressed was an understatement, what was frustrating was the shop you dropped it off at for further work pointed it all out to me.

Maybe you have gotten better over time or perhaps someone else entirely does your clear bras. All I know is I spent thousands with you one time and felt like it was a utter waste and have never walked away from Sean's shop feeling the same.

There is nothing to PM or address at this point. I just want this to be a matter of record between us so that no one thinks I am making a comment without direct contact/feedback.

It would help if I knew who you were and when we did the work...up to you to PM or contact me. In the end, I ALWAYS stand by our work and there are things we do to make sure we address things. Did you ever do a follow-up visit with us that we offer complimentary in a few weeks after your installation?

It seems you're obviously in good hands with Sean, but I don't ever want any client that did any work with us to feel they did not get what they paid for. So, I'm happy to address any/all issues that if you give me the opportunity.

It's easy to always do great work and clients walk away happy...however, it's times like this when a company doesn't meet client expectations, and what they do to remedy the situation. To me, that's the ultimate test of a company's integrity, passion, and customer service. We're here should you want to reach us. You trusted me and my company enough to give us the initial opportunity, all I ask now, please allow us to give the warranty and care that you paid for as well.

So I thought I'd let you all know where I ended up.

It turned out I needed paint correction (I bought the car second hand, and the paint was filled with micro-scratches and holograms). And I decided that I should get the car quartz sealed as well.

I spoke with several guys who do this work and spent more time than I care to admit reading reviews of detailers on this board, on other boards, and talking with people.

I ended up giving my car to Jimmy Lucci of Lucci Elite Detailing. The car came back looking amazing - just amazing.

He was not the least expensive, but was also not the most the expensive, of the folks in Orange County who do this work. But I am very pleased with how the car came out.

Andrew
