When I bought my last 3 Porsches (no leasing or financing) I've paid by personal cheque and taken instant delivery. I was advised last time that I'm one of the few customers they allow that, normally asking for bank draft but they seem to trust me for some unknown reason. In fact of the 63 cars I've owned only once was I asked for a certified cheque or bank draft!
