Discount on a 2015 C2 11/2015 Build

I currently drive a 2014 C2. Dealer is offering me a one year push forward on order for a 11/2015 build, approximate January 2016 delivery. It will be one of the last NA 911 delivered. I was able to negotiate close to 7% MSRP discount. My current lease is up 7/16. I don't want to drive a Turbo 911. My build is very important to me, as it is a track ready car with no sunroof, PASM, PTV, Aero kit. Should I order on Monday? Note I am not interested in an "S"; GTS. Can I do better on a custom build? Keep in mind C2 allocations are getting thin.

The 7% range is very generous. Haven't seen over 8% on anything other than cars that have sat on lots for a very long time and hard to move.

Most guys on the west coast can barely score a 5% discount.

Go for it I say. Enjoy the new car and NA engine. Push for 7% though. You can get it.

7% discount in the tri-state is excellent. Take it and run.

I took delivery of one of the first 991s in April 2012. I have been suffering with this cars dog of a motor for 3.5 years now. I cannot wait to be rid of it and drive the turbo car. I cannot understand why you would order this car when the good ones are just around the corner.

You can definitely score 7%. But, the fact that it's a custom order and exactly to your liking should convince you to take the deal, even if it's a tad bit below 7%. Many people spend weeks/months stressing over .5-1% off of a deal, but in the end, it really makes little difference to your wallet and ends up stressing you out.

Go for it!

Simply a matter of personal preference. I do not like the lag in turbos.
