991 Instrument Panel Light Bulbs

Tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything.....

On the 911 50th anniversary edition the instrument panel numbers lights up in green, I kind of like that. I don't want to replace the whole instrument panel, is it possible to change only the light bulbs? If so, what kind of bulbs to use exactly and where would I switch out the bulbs?

Any help is much appreciated!!

I can share how to remove the instrument cluster if that is any help. But I've never looked at the illumination source for the cluster, and I believe they are LEDs, and may not be something you can just swap-out. In other cars the LEDs are soldered -- doesn't mean you couldn't snip them off and solder in a different colored LED, but that isn't something you should do unless you are very confident with your soldering gun.

I don't think its an LED issue. The actual numbers and letters on my 911_50 gauges are green. I assume that even a clear LED behind them causes them to glow green when the lights are on.
