Satellite Radio
Does the 2012-2015 991 come standard with a Sirius or XM satellite radio module? If not, with what package is it associated or is it a standalone option? I can't seem to find this anywhere!
Thanks for your help!

It does not come base. You have to buy the Bose or Burmeister to get it. I have the base stereo in my 2014 and thought I would hugely miss XM/Sirrius, and nearly passed on the car because of that. However, it has a great bluetooth system as standard and with Spotify you can load up your phone, do Spotify off-line with it and have better than XM (as long as you don't need the talk part of it or Howard Stern). No data charges on your phone with Spotify.
I've got base radio in my 2012 and satellite radio. Pretty sure its a standalone option too.
edit, just checked the window sticker, $750 standalone option.

It was either a standalone option or came with Burmester for sure. My 2013 is XM and the XM reception is not as good as Sirius (I have Sirius aftermarket in my 996 TT and also my Audi S5) due to the location of the satellites. XM's are over the Equator and Sirius about the Tropic of Cancer (about 23' North I think). In Vancouver, the XM ones are on too flat a plane (so to speak) so reception not even close to Sirius. Apparently XM actually does have some repeaters in larger metro areas to help that but not around Vancouver yet.
Same here I ordered my car back in 2012 and it has the base radio with satellite radio ... Gotta have Howard !!
