PDK clicking sound when pushing or releasing accelerator

Recently purchased a 2015 4S (PDK) with about 6K miles, and noticing a clicking sound every time I push or release the accelerator in the same gear. It is not a loud bang rather a single click (like a gear has some play in it). More obvious at lower speeds and in gears 1, 2, or 3. Happens quite a bit in a parking lot when I am pushing and releasing the accelerator while looking for a parking spot at low speeds. It is one click when pushing the accelerator and another single click when releasing.

This is my first Porsche so I don't have any prior experience. Would welcome some advice on if this is normal? I took it to the dealer today and they said it is normal to have some play in the transmission which results in the click, but not sure if this is true...so thought I would post on this forum. Some confirmation of others experiencing something similar would make me feel more comfortable with the dealer's assessment.

I don't have a 4S but a C2S with PDK trans. There is NO clicking or any other unusual sounds from my PDK trans, slow or any speed. Unless someone with a 4 S says it Normal, something is amiss. Perhaps something to do with AWD coupling somewhere. It's under warranty, take it back

Thanks for reply. Welcome feedback from any 4S owners. I'll also try to find a 4S for sale locally and take it for a test drive. Seems to be happening only at RPMs below 1500-2000 (i.e. driving in a parking lot or in neighborhood), maybe when engine is more under load. Goes away completely above 2000-2500 RPM.

A friend of mine had a similar clicking noise on the PDK on his CPO 997 4S. They replaced the PDK twice - it was at the dealer for five of the nine months he owned it. They took it back from him and gave him back his original purchase price.

HI - What was the outcome = I just noticed on muy 991.1 GTS a single click after on/off throttle - not loud but a subtle click on release of accelerator. I thought it perhaps was a normal sound for the engine mounts?
