While parked someone drove into onto my front bumper, it's a bit scuffed I guess it will not buff out but need some paint and there is a very slight indentation on the plastic, can this re returned to normal by heating the plastic up? Has anyone dealt with this issue?

 

I would recommend getting an estimate at a body shop. Heating the plastic will probably just make it worse.

 

I agree with stealthboy and further, I would use the shop that the local Porsche dealer uses. They have to fix transport issues on new cars, therefore it is in their interest to find a good one. I just had a parked car incident and they did a great job matching a difficult (Platinum silver) paint.

I knew a painter that did this, but I wouldn't try it on my own. You might have to take the bumper cover off and push from the inside but I'm not too sure.

 

Get a professional to assess and repair. And I do not mean one of those guys that drives around and "fixes" bumper damage in shopping center parking lots. Do it right, do it once and forget it happened.
