Removing rear diffuser

Hello everyone!
I'm new to the forum and have had my 2014 C4S Cab for about 6 months now and absolutely love it.
I've done a few mods to the car so far and will update in the near future (maybe with pics once the car is clean )

The latest mod I'm working on is installing the Vorsteiner CF rear diffuser. I read a lot online and on this forum and have found a few tutorials on how to remove the factory one.

Seems to be that everyone has spent several hours removing theirs as well as other recommendations to remove the entire rear bumper. I started by prying off the exhaust shrouds that others have called heat shields as well. I ended up breaking off the tabs to remove one of them and then started pulling off the valance itself and it all just popped off in a few mins. The other shroud didn't even have to come off. The only other thing was removing the rivet, which I did with a set of needle nose pliers.

What I learned was something I wanted to share with anyone tackling this new project. Don't stress about it as it requires very little effort to remove. Only two screws and a rivet and some light pulling to unclip the valance.

All the best to everyone and I look forward to learning more on this forum and sharing my experiences.

Thanks! Always good to hear others' experiences and tips and knowing that doing these mods can be DIYs.
