Well in all fairness if you're going to make generalizations of a brand, at least be accurate. What about the Panamera?

First isn't this what a free market is all about. You don't like the prices, move to another brand. Porsche can charge what they want up to what the market will bear. We have a certain amount of control over that, stop buying Porsches and maybe pricing gets better.

Second, had over 10 of these cars in several different variations including 4 TT P cars. I drove them every day until there was snow on he ground and could have driven them then if I chose. The cost to run those high performance cars was negligible. If you did the oil changes yourself even less so. And I knew I was driving one of the best sports cars in the world.

There are a lot of other high performance cars out there. Some I only see at cars and coffee on a Saturday morning. There is very little I splurge on only for myself all else goes the the family coffers. So as long as they make them so I can still enjoy them and keep up the quality I'll stay right here. And I am not blind to the fact that I can get a quicker car stoplight to stoplight for considerably less.

As far as being "Audified". I believe they share some SUV platforms that doesn't bother me at all but I'm not aware of any other major cross pole nation even though I'm sure some of it goes on.

What he said! This is my only vice as well and I also like knowing that I'm driving one of the best, if not the best, engineered cars in the world. Another "like" about Porsche cars is that the unique factor is already built-in...after-market modifications are unnecessary and won't make them any better.

I agree, I daily drove my Cayman S for 5 years, put over 50k miles on it without any problems, including a few track days. Just traded it for a CPO '13 C2S and plan on doing the same. Anything more "exotic" I wouldn't feel comfortable daily driving, anything less capable I wouldn't want to track.
