water level

Hi ,
I'm driving a new 991.2 carrera s , 2016 .
From the beginning I had a problem with missing water .
I had a warning "Refil coolant immediately stop driving" .

I went to the garage they checked everything and they didn't find any leak .
But the problem repeated it self and at the end they said it's a problem with the sensor and they replaced all the water tank .
Since then I don't have any warnings but the red stick in the water tank is always at the minimum , even if I fill water after few days it goes again to the minimum .

In the local Porsche garage they say it is normal and the red stick should be at the minimum .
Is it normal ???
What is the situation in your car ??
Best Regards ,
Noam

Every time I check, the red ball always seems to be on min, even after I refill to the middle, the ball seems to return to min after a few days. No gauge warnings though.

Every time I check mine shows max. I get that same warning occasionally. Something is goofy with my sensor.

I had the same problem and I put 4 cups of coolant in it which brought it up to max which I attributed to air in the lines as the car was almost new. I had it again and put another 1 cup plus. Now the gauge is showing in the middle. In checking it this time, I noticed there is a seal in the middle of the cap that is supposed to keep steam from getting by but it has what looks like calcium particles on the seal itself and on the outer edges of the cap, beyond the seal (see picture). Clearly, water and steam are not supposed to be getting at that part of the cap unless there is excessive pressure and I haven't had any abnormal coolant temperatures. I'm thinking the calcium particles are not permitting a tight seal. This time I'm going to wipe off the seal and the inside of the cap and see what happens.
