And another thing about GTS car values: They haven't gone down much if at all in about a year. And my trade-in value has actually gone up over the last few months, on my 2015 model.
These cars will hold their value, also because they are NA.

Well...the car sold so I guess that made my decision for me Not sure I would have gone against my gut and got it.

So...now just waiting for a:

-2015 GTS Cab
- Either Full Leather or GTS Interior Package (Grey Stitching)
- Low Miles
- Right price

Should be easy

I cannot say enough good things about the GTS. I purchased mine new off the lot...Black would not have been my first choice, but the car just appealed to me with those wide hips, low profile, black lettering, and black wheels. Besides, I got a nice discount. Mine has full leather with gray stitching, PDK, Chrono, and sport suspension, as well as park assist, rear camera, glass roof, and 18-way seats. Frankly, for me this is a car you drive. After experiencing a P4S, Boxster S, and 991 C4...all which I thoroughly enjoyed...the GTS raised the bar for me. The only dislike is keeping the darn thing clean.

Thanks so much for the post. It's a huge help. Originally I was going to get another S or 4S but I'm really thinking GTS is the way to go. I just need to be patient and find the right one.

I hear you on the black car. I'm just about to sell my black '09 C2S. See link below.

I bought a CR Spotless and have been washing it myself since I got it. That has helped me to keep it clean.

Hey, normally I wouldn't get white, but I can't take my GTS out without someone complimenting it.

Happens every time. Right now it's a weekend car but apparently white is very striking with the black accents.

I'd love throughs from the group...

Do you think now is a good time to get a 991.1 GTS? Do you think when the 991.2 GTS's come out it will drive the price down on the 991.1's? Or...because of the natural aspiration it will go up?

I certainly think now is a good time if you can find one to your liking. I don't believe the 991.2 GTS will drive down the prices for the 991.1s any more than normal depreciation for these cars because of what they are.

991.2 GTS is out, and 991.1 GTS values are basically steady, if not slightly improved. In 2 years, who knows?

So I've ordered a 991.2 Targa 4 GTS. It goes into production next week, scheduled completion during the week of 4/28, hope it gets delivered before Memorial Day. I did the Agate Grey exterior and, somewhat to my embarrassment, pretty much all the performance options and many of interior upgrades. It has turned out to be a pretty heavily optioned car in the end. I previously had a Ferrari 360 (which I loved) but I'm not sure I'll be in a position to buy another true exotic in the future, so I've spec'ed the new GTS to take it's place but in a more usable form. It will have the Alcantara, a tasteful amount of carbon fiber, Carmine red deviated stitching, etc. I intend to keep it for quite a while, but who can say for how long. For now I'm obsessed with the anticipation of the car arriving...

@OP, if you're still looking for a pre-owned GTS there's a really sick 2015 Rhodium Silver, MT, 11K on sale at Porsche of Tysons Corner for $111,888. My salesman there is Pat Driscoll...he's sold me 5 cars, including my current GTS and Cayenne.

At least this gives you a sense of how these cars hold their value.

It totally does...I've been tracking the prices. Right now the only ones I'm seeing that match what I want are 2016's and they are significantly higher than the 2015's...so I wait.

I know this has been asked 100 times...but since this is on a GTS.

Thoughts on a car that has 2 years left on it's factory warranty vs. finding one that also has the CPO? What's the cost to value ratio?
