Porsche would not start
Porsche would not start
Got my Cayman R ready for summer and when I try the ignition lights blink and all the lights in the dashboard blink and car would not start. Advise anyone?
Could be the clutch sensor. Car has to detect the clutch pedal is engaged. Otherwise it won't turn over (or attempt to). I had to replace that same part in my Cayman R. Nevermind if yours is PDK but since you're not in the US, I'm betting a manual.

If you didn't drive it for a few months, and did not have it hooked up to a battery tender (as required) the battery is dead, or at least dead enough that it won't start.
Try charging the battery and if that fails replace it.
You absolutely cannot leave a Cayman all winter without a battery tender attached, the battery drains to 0.
Source: I have done this and learned the hard way.
If I'm 100% wrong and the battery isn't dead or you have been driving it recently, then it could be the starter is no longer functioning.
