My intro to the 991 forum - my new (to me) 991.1

I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself and my new (to me) 991.1. I first entered the Porsche ownership circle 2 years ago with a 2010 997.2 C4S 6MT. Loved the car, but the city I live in continues to grow and the traffic congestion continues to build, and the 6 MT was a workout every time, to the point that I wasn't enjoying it anymore. Have to drive through traffic to get to a spot to have fun, so no way around it.

I've been reading the forums diligently on PDK vs 6MT and I made a PDK one of my must-haves. I've been looking for months for a 2014 - 2015 black on black C4S but every one I found within a reasonable distance had too many miles, an insurance claim, some other story, etc. So I finally found a 2015 C2S with all my wish list items except AWD. I'm a little disappointed with my Porsche sales rep, he knew what I was looking for, for several months. I found the car on their website and contacted him, not the other way. Regardless, I put a deposit on it over the phone, took a day off work, drove 2-1/2 hours to see it, loved it, made the deal and took the new one home. I ended up with a 2015 C2S with CPO until April 2021. The car has:
176 PSE (love it!)
250 PDK
345 steering wheel heating
429 20-inch 911 Turbo wheels
446 colored wheel caps
529 Sport Design mirrors
603 PDLS
640 Sport Chrono
653 Glass sunroof
844 Multi-function wheel
A1 Black
AJ Black leather front seats
P07 Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way)
P3G Premium Package Plus (not sure what that is actually)
P3H Bose
XSC crests on headrests
Full front paint protection. Previous owner had put some windshield protection or film on as well. I took a rock to the windshield on the trip home and it bounced off, left the tiniest scuff but not a star or pit. Whatever was on the windshield worked!

I traded in the 997.2 and they treated me fair. They quickly cleaned it up and re-listed it for $2500 less than I paid for it 2 years ago.

So far I love the new car, much more refined (some will argue it's not as raw or pure) but I'm of an age where I'm appreciating the little extras - like having parking sensors, a back up camera, nav, etc. Love the PDK, but I noticed the engine oil temp gauge runs a couple marks higher than my 997.2. Not sure if this is a 991.1 trait, a PDK thing, or something not right with the car. Not worried, it's running right in the middle of the gauge (about 110 Celcius).

My first project will be changing out the front marker lights to clear ones - had them on the 997.2 and loved them.

I'm doubting that my winter tires/rims from my C4S will fit - any advice on how to confirm that? Not that I drive it in the winter hardly, just like having them for a spare and for the shoulder season, when it gets cold but there is no snow on the ground.

So just wanted to introduce myself and my car! Thanks for all the guidance over the last couple of years, greatly appreciated.
