Leasing advice new 991.2 2017
Hey all,
Trying to lease a new 911 cab (MSRP 115-120k) for 39 months/10k miles a yr. Best deal I found was 1399 a month plus 2500 down all in (taxes for IL included). They came back and said that they wouldn't follow through since I needed to pay taxes on the full amt of the car which is just not the case anymore for IL and said I was wrong (dealer in GA). So b/c they are wrong they won't sell me a car now (prob didn't wanna sell for some reason). Anyways, the deal sounded good to me and they had the car I want. Opinions? In SC for a while, don't mind going out of state at all to get (NC, GA, FL, etc.). Was the deal that good? What should I aim for? Any good dealers to work with?
Thanks!
Matt

Lets's approach this in a different way. PFS leases will alway's leave you upside down day 1. If you ever want to dispose of your car (unless there is a pull ahead program), you will have to come up with cash or pay more for the new vehicle.
If you have the extra $$$ for a down payment, which is equal to 20% of the cost go with a third party open end (as opposed to a closed end) lease. This will afford you much better negotiating position on a a trade with any future dealer.
I am currently in a position that is upside down trying to sell my '16 C2 Black Edition. I will never lease with PFS again, as I tend not to hold cars to the end of lease term.
PM me with specific questions, so not to upset the PFS fan's .

That lease number is too low, they misquoted you and they don't want to lose money on the car now. Think about it, the national ad for a 36 month 911 Carrera lease is $1199/mo with about $7,000 down and that is on a $106,000 car I think. Take away $4500 of that down payment (to match your deal) and the payment would jump to $1334/mo. How are they going to lease you a $120K+ car for that amount?
I agree also with @combatninja here. There price is too low and unfair for you because they just quote you and not want you to get it. I suggest getting more quotations to the dealers to compare the price.

They range from 1-3.5k miles and are all untitled and available to lease or purchase. They often carry deep discounts, 5-10k on MSRP so the lease rates are very favorable.
I picked up a loaded 2017 C2S, 138k MSRP with 1.5k on it for 12k reduced. wheel insurance coverage & 3YR maintenance for 1.9k a month (standard 2.5k down). I was very pleased with that rate.

Just watch for cars that are price reduced and check the mileage on the details. They get snatched up quick because they are essentially new cars with a huge incentive so if you're interested you'll need to move on it asap.
If you're looking for the best deal the dealerships around the ATL area, Hennessy and Perimeter get executive vehicles that were used by Porsche execs here in ATL as daily commute drivers.
