Track day shoes
I have these Adidas O-type ( like this one
that I use for track day but also whenever I go for a drive. They are relatively comfortable to walk and really good on the pedals. Now after a couple of years, they are falling apart...
What are you guys using for the same purpose?
So far:
Pumas are nice but way too narrow, cant find one that fits. Hunziker seems the same deal.
I find the racing boots (eg Alpinestars) a bit too much even for track days. Adidas boots are nice but fall in the same alpinestars category. I wouldnt use them on daily basis...
Sparco and Piloti have some nice models, but believe it or not, can't find them in the Chicagoland area (northstar has a very limited selection).
I mention that bc I believe shoes one must try before buying or getting them from an online vendor with VERY lax return policies.
