Need buying advice
I have a Black 2016 991.1 Cab C2 Manual I ordered new in fall of 2015. I have been very happy with the car but sometimes I wish I had more power and regret not getting a wide body. I recently came across a 2016 Cab GTS Cab manual, similar milage in my favorite color grey. For sale by private owner in CA. The owner's lease is over in May and thinking about selling it himself. He is asking $116,500. Several questions:
1. How much could I reasonably expect to get for mine?
2. Is his asking price of $116,500 in the ball park?
2. Is it enough of an upgrade to make it worth the hassle? Same year, same milage but GTS vs C2
Thanks for any input

I can't speak to price but I will speak to happiness. If you want the GTS the price differential is objective but if it makes you happy it's worth it. The GTS will always be worth about that much more than your current car.
The GTS won't be twice as good as your car but it should be better in many ways. Drive a GTS and see if it makes you want to write a big check and get rid of a car you love. .Then you will know what you want to do.

That price sounds more than a bit high to me. I just traded-in my 2015 GTS, and got $83K for it. If I had sold it privately, I probably could have gotten $90K. Mine was a coupe with just under 20K on the odometer. Generally, coupes command better prices on resale. What’s the mileage on that ‘16? Also, all the add-ons that drive up the prices on new 911s generally don’t carry over either on resale.
