Spoiler Lip Protection (SLiPLO)

I decided to try out the el-cheapo spoiler lip protection that someone else mentioned: SLiPLO. Overall I think it is a great way to protect the lip for not a lot of coin; however, I have not tested it nor so I plan to do, at least not intentionally! They have a video and instruction on their web site but it is really easy to do but one should take their time applying it to ensure it is where you want it since it sticks well. And they include the adhesive promoter so one does not need to buy anything extra. On my 991.2 with the Sport Design spoiler lip I had to trim them since the lip edge is narrow but on other models it may be a lot easier since the bottom is flat from the edge back. The instructions state that trimming is required for narrow lips so I knew this in advance. My lip is painted so the black edge really looks good to me and since most cars have black spoilers it will blend in well. Here are some pictures and send me a PM if you want a discount code:

Interesting. The aero lip on my car is pretty beat up. I’ve put on white ( the car is white) thick gorilla tape for now. I have a new aero lip ready to go that is painted black which i thought would be kool, we’ll see when it’s on. Anyway, keep me posted on how protective the product really is.

They have some great videos on their web site to show how it works, and I looked at mine today after putting it on a few days ago and I can assure you it will not come off and should work as advertised. They have a sale on now and I will send you a link and discount though.

rugu6869 is infamous around these parts
OP: How many boxes did you buy?
I don't have the sport design front end, but will have a sport lip for the stock bumper that sticks out a little bit more than the stock one.
I'm also going to be lowering my car on coil-overs, so any protection is good.

I bought just one box and I have enough to go all the way around my spoiler lip to where the tires are.
